Bhumika Mehta: Juttis by Panache

Written by Punya Haruray

Cinderella is my favourite Disney story. Any guesses why? Of course because of the glass heel shoes! Cinderella would not have become a princess if it wasn’t for her shoe! Marilyn Monroe’s famous quote “give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world” must be based on Cinderella story!

However, in Bhumika Mehta’s case, I would like to tweak the quote “let the girl make the right shoes and she will conquer the world”. This young entrepreneur started her career as a Banker but realized that there was more to her than just working in a Bank! Her passion for shoes drove her into starting her own line of Punjabi juttis. She says “Panache is not just a brand; it is like my baby”

The word “Panache” means flamboyant confidence of Style or how Bhumika likes to put it “an elite affair”.  Panache is based out of Dubai and Delhi with free delivery across India. One can also buy their collection online from their website.  Apart from shoes they also have a beautiful collection of Phulkari dupattas and sarees and will soon come out with a range of clutch bags.  Striving for excellence and customer delight they want to continuously outdo themselves in customer satisfaction.

The detailing that they do for each jutti is worth every penny. Right from the fabric, material, texture of the thread to the colour of the ghungroo; this is what makes the shoe perfect for you. Bhumika propagates that “a girl needs a beautiful pair of shoes that are trendy, light and comfortable and at the same time this luxury should be affordable!”

To sum it up, if you are in love with shoes, Panache can be your elite affair!
